Dr. Simon Melcher is a 2003 graduate of the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry. He completed his undergraduate studies at NC State, and enjoys the privilege of working closely with many of their athletes. He is an active member of the American Dental Association, North Carolina Dental Society, the Raleigh/ Wake County Dental Society, and the Academy of Sports Dentistry. Dr. Melcher was the 2003 winner of the Southeastern Academy of Prosthodontics Award of Excellence. In his free time he enjoys backpacking and cycling. He, his wife Betsy, and their three children reside in Apex.

Dr. Emily Rodriguez earned her undergraduate degree from Stanford University, where she played Division I Lacrosse. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery and completed a fellowship in Advanced General Dentistry from UNC Chapel Hill. She was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, a prestigious honor demonstrating high character and excellence in scholarship. She was a member of Gorgas Odontological Honorary Society, which highlighted her scholastic achievement, and Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society for her clinical achievements.

She is a perfectionist in both dental skills and patient care. She will always spend extra time when needed to explain and answer patients' questions thoroughly. Her skilled and gentle touch appeals to patients of all ages. Dr. Rodriguez has volunteered on several mission trips to the Dominican Republic and Ecuador to participate in humanitarian missions providing care to communities without access. She is an active member of the American Dental Association and the North Carolina Dental Society. Dr. Rodriguez grew up in Annapolis, Maryland, and developed an early love for the joys of sailing and being on the water. Dr. Emily Rodriguez Lives in Raleigh with her husband Dave and 2 children Finn and Charlie.

Cathy joined our team in April 2009. She prides herself on treating patients with respect and compassion.

Cathy and her husband Bud have raised 4 children. When not at work you will find Cathy spending time with her family, cheering the Wolfpack to Victory, singing in the church praise band, playing at the beach, or doing something with her Bernese Mountain Dogs.

Alicia joined our team in May 2019. She has been in the dental field Since 2008. She prides herself in the care and compassion she gives each patient. Originally from Concord, NC but she now resides in Wendell with her husband and their two children, Baylor and Ramey. When not at work you can find her cheering on the Wolfpack or at Lake Gaston with her family.

Laura has been a Dental Assistant since 2004 She prides herself in her career. . Laura cares for her patients, making sure they have a positive experience in our dental practice. . When not at work she spends most of her time with her daughter, traveling, crafting, and spending time with her animals and at the beach.

Nora has been a Dental Assistant for over 25 years, and has been with Dr. Melcher and Dr. Rodriguez since 2005. Nora truly loves her career in Dentistry and it shows in the quality of time and care that she gives to all her patients. Nora has been married for 30 years and has 2 adult Children. She also has 1 dog. She is very devoted to her family. When she is not at work she is spending time with her family.

Louise has practiced dental Hygiene since July 1977. Louise prides herself on professionalism and providing outstanding patient care. Louise and her husband Carl have 2 grown children. Carla and Taylor. Louise enjoys yoga, cooking, gardening, and most of all traveling with her family and friends.

Jennifer grew up in Swansboro (coastal NC) and moved to Raleigh in 2001. She attended Wake Technical Community College, where she received an Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene degree in 2005. She joined the practice in 2012 and has enjoyed building a rapport with the practice's long established patients and developing lasting connections with our new patients. Jennifer is a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association and the North Carolina Dental Hygiene Association. In her free time, Jennifer enjoys spending time with her husband, Todd, and their children, Lilyana and Braydon. They love traveling to the NC Mountains and attending college football and professional hockey games.

Elizabeth grew up in Virginia Beach, VA and started calling North Carolina home in 2005. She has degrees from Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!) and Forsyth Technical Community College. As a registered dental hygienist, Elizabeth is passionate about providing quality care for her patients and establishing lasting relationships with them. No two mouths are the same, so personalized care is important to improving and maintaining an individual's overall oral health. Elizabeth and her husband Nick live in Cary with their two young children, Madeline and Drew. They love taking family trips to Hilton Head and have recently started exploring North Carolina beaches.

Amanda has practiced Dental Hygiene since 2011. She received her Associate's in Dental Hygiene from Westmoreland Community College in Pennsylvania. She loves getting to know her patients on a personal level and making them feel at home. Amanda moved to NC in 2017 and lives in Johnston County with her husband Eddie and stepdaughter Addie. When not at work you can find her on the golf course or at the beach.
